Update your browser is a community initiative to encourage the users of the out dated Internet Explorer 6 to upgrade to IE 7, or better still, switch to a standards compliant browser like Firefox or Safari.
The site will also include a web application for web designers and developers to generate the necessary HTML code within conditional comments to present IE6 users with an unobtrusive upgrade bar at the top of the browser linking them to a custom designed landing page that helps them find a new browser (one that works, we hope!)
